Government Advocacy & Policy Initiatives

IMTMA works closely with various government agencies in promoting the growth and development of a strong and vibrant machine tool industry. 

The association provides policy inputs to the government for development of technology and growth of this strategic industry IMTMA conducts regular interactions with the Department of Heavy Industry, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises, NITI Aayog, etc.

The Association presents industry concerns to the government for formulating policies supporting the machine tool industry. IMTMA provides policy inputs to various government agencies on specific issues referred to it from time to time.

IMTMA is represented on various committees of the Government and works with the industry association, such as CII, FICCI in policy advocacy.
