Design Institute
The objective of the Design Institute of the Technology Centre is to strengthen the design capability of the Indian machine tool builders. This is achieved through training programmes that are conducted for designers through short and medium term courses.
Productivity Institute
Machine tools are used by machine tool manufacturers as well as the user industry. Often competitiveness is lost due to poor productivity. This is primarily due to insufficient training and more so in the SME sector. IMTMA conducts
several training programmes on various technical subjects and organises major events like the Productivity Summit, International Metal Cutting and Metal Forming seminars, etc. These seminars, workshops, and training programmes are covered under the Productivity Institute of the Technology Centre.
